Following four successful editions of the remedy Conference for Contaminated Sites, the fifth edition is scheduled for the 28th of september 2022. The conference will be held live and in person with online attendance possible. The focus of this year’s edition is Sustainable Remediation.

All Presentations and Q&A sessions will be supplied with interpreters so that all sessions will be available to participants in both Polish and English (English/Polish and Polish/English)
Remedy is an environmental event, a platform from which soil and groundwater remediation issues at the forefront of the CEE market can be examined. This conference is an intersection of ideas, experiences, and practices, where the practitioners gather in search of remedies.
First established in 2018, by Lion Environmental sp. z o.o., a consultancy, with the idea that the best way to address environmental problems was through increasing understanding, examining technical, legal, regulatory questions, and sharing perspectives. The goal of remedy is to find new ways of doing things to seek effective and sustainable solutions. The conference also emphasizes technical and regulatory challenges faced in locations around the world and to see how they relate to the CEE.
Our past conferences audience included developers, landowners, laboratories, environmental consultants, law firms, and representative from Polish governmental agencies including: the General Directorate for Environmental Protection, Regional Directorates for Environmental Protection, the National Water Management Authority – Polish Water, the Polish Geological Institute. The conference has also been attended by the Italian National Institute for Environmental Protection and Research, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, and the European Commission, DG Joint Research Centre.
The experiences shared in previous conferences include those from Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Japan, Lithuania, United Kingdom, and the United States.
